On my PC(AMD Athlon 64 X2 5000+, overclocked to 2.94Ghz, 1TB SATA 7200rpm hard drive, and 4GB of RAM), it takes about 35 seconds from the moment I see “Starting Windows”, to the login screen, then roughly another 30 seconds to a fully responsive desktop. Nothing major, though, comparing to Windows XP, which took about 80 seconds to boot. <p>The taskbar has gotten wider, somewhat mimicking Dock in OSX. you can drag applications onto it, so their icons are showing in the taskbar, even when they are not running. <p>Don’t get too excited just yet, Windows 7 only solved some issues with Vista, such as the ever so annoying UAC popups, and random disk access for no reason. There’s nothing revolutionary, however.<br>It’s still the same old Start menu, still doesn’t recognize all my 4GB of RAM, still vulnerable to millions of viruses and trojans.

After yesterday's post, I did some experiments with my iPhone, one of them is uninstalling "summerboard". A third party application replaces the standard springboard that came with the iPhone.<br /><br />I haven't had a BSOD ever since.<br /><br />So is that it? a third party application that made iPhone crash? <P>在OSX里面按Command+Delete是删除，Command+Shift+Delete是清空废纸篓。</P> <P>可经常会遇到因为某些文件被锁定而无法清空废纸篓的情况。我以前遇到这种事都是手工去修改那些文件的属性，把锁定去掉，再删除。遇到很多文件又分处不同文件夹的时候就会变得费时费力。 </P> <P>今天又学了一招儿：Command+Option+Shift+Delete=强制清空废纸篓，也就是说在清空废纸篓的时候多按一个Option键即可。 </P> <P>*注：Command=苹果键，Option=Alt键</P>

General -&gt; Auto-Lock)</li></ol><p><strong>第一步：激活iPhone</strong><br />用USB线将iPhone连到电脑上，使用iNdependence（Mac）或者相应的Windows软件激活iPhone。关于激活的文章网上已经有很多了，我就以iNdependence为例简单说一下：</p> <ol> <li>Perform Jailbreak: 按照提示同时按住iPhone上的返回和休眠键大约25秒，直到iPhone屏幕上出现黄色三角位置。 </li><li>Put PEM file: 点一下即可。 </li><li>Generate Activation: 输入iPhone包装盒后面的IMEI和ICCID，点OK，然后把文件存在自己能找到的地方。 </li><li>Activate Phone: 把刚刚存出来的.plist文件写到iPhone里去。如果写的时候出错，请退出iNdependence软件，再运行一次。成功后，会看到iPhone屏幕上显示激活成功。</li></ol> <p><strong>第二步：安装SSH</strong><br />还以iNdependence为例： 点击“Install SSH/SFTP/SCP”，然后按提示重启两次iPhone。<br /><br /><strong>第三步：安装BSD subsystem<br /></strong>在iPhone上安装之前准备的installer，然后通过wifi下载并安装BSD subsystem，约6.6M。<br /><br /><strong>第四步：把破解文件传到iPhone上</strong><br />用SFTP（很多FTP软件都可以，我用的是Transmit）把破解包里的"ICE03.14.08_G.fls", "iUnlock", 和"nor"这三个文件上传到iPhone的"/usr/bin"目录里。上传以后把这几个文件的属性改成"<strong>755</strong>"(rwxr-xr-x)<br /><br /><strong>第五步：禁用com.apple.CommCenter.plist<br /></strong>下面要远程连到iPhone上去了。请先找到iPhone的IP（Settings -&gt; Wi-Fi -&gt; 按已连接的无线局域网名字旁边的蓝色箭头 -&gt; 记下"IP Address"右边的数字）<br />然后打开一个终端窗口（Terminal），输入：</p> <div style="padding: 10px; background-color: rgb(250, 255, 169);">ssh -l root <b>iPhone的IP地址(一般是192.168.0.x)</b></div> <p>第一次连接的时候需要输入"yes"确认，然后输入密码"<strong>dottie</strong>"。<br /><br />如果你在这一步遇到有一大串@@@@@@的警告，可以输入这个命令：</p> <div style="padding: 10px; background-color: rgb(250, 255, 169);">rm ~/.ssh/known_hosts</div> <p>成功连上iPhone以后，请输入这个命令来禁用com.apple.CommCenter.plist：</p> <div style="padding: 10px; background-color: rgb(250, 255, 169);">launchctl unload -w /System/Library/LaunchDaemons/com.apple.CommCenter.plist</div> <p>如果如果输入完这个命令以后什么反应都没有，就对了。<br /><br /><strong>第六步：运行iUnlock<br /></strong>输入：<br /></p> <div style="padding: 10px; background-color: rgb(250, 255, 169);">cd /usr/bin</div> <p>然后：<br /></p> <div style="padding: 10px; background-color: rgb(250, 255, 169);">./iUnlock ICE03.14.08_G.fls nor</div> <p>这时你会看到很多的"00%"。不要着急，这一步比较慢，大约需要20分钟。这时可以起身去伸个懒腰，冲杯咖啡什么的。<br /><br />回来以后，如果你看到这个画面，就已经成功了一大半了：<br /></p> <div style="padding: 10px; background-color: rgb(250, 255, 169);">ssh -l root <b>iPhone的IP地址</b></div> <p>输入密码"dottie"后，键入这个命令：<br /></p> <div style="padding: 10px; background-color: rgb(250, 255, 169);">minicom -s</div> <p>你会看到minicom这个程序跳出来，在这里面按两下"下"，来到"<strong>Serial Port Setup</strong>"这里，按回车<br /><br /><strong>第八步：设置minicom端口<br /></strong>在端口设置画面里，按键盘上的"<strong>A</strong>"，然后把"<strong>/dev/modem</strong>"改成"<strong>/dev/tty.baseband</strong>"，按<strong>回车</strong>确认，再按<strong>ESC</strong>返回上一级菜单。<br />在这个菜单里，选"<strong>Save setup as dfl</strong>"，然后选<strong>Exit</strong>。注意，<strong>不是Exit from minicom</strong><br />Save setup as dfl的时候如果出错，不必理会，继续就是了。<br /><br /><strong>第九步：输入神奇的AT指令<br /></strong>你现在看到的应该是minicom的通讯界面。在这里输入：</p> <div style="padding: 10px; background-color: rgb(250, 255, 169);">AT S7=45 S0=0 L1 V1 X4 &amp;c1 E1 Q0</div> <p>如果返回一个"OK"，就继续输入下面的这两行：<br /></p> <div style="padding: 10px; background-color: rgb(250, 255, 169);">AT+CLCK="PN",0,"00000000"<br /></div> <p>和<br /></p> <div style="padding: 10px; background-color: rgb(250, 255, 169);">AT+CLCK="PN",2</div> <p>如果输入了上面的命令没反应，我们需要重新启用再禁用一遍com.apple.CommCenter.plist，输入：<br /></p> <div style="padding: 10px; background-color: rgb(250, 255, 169);">launchctl load -w /System/Library/LaunchDaemons/com.apple.CommCenter.plist</div> <p>然后：<br /></p> <div style="padding: 10px; background-color: rgb(250, 255, 169);">launchctl unload -w /System/Library/LaunchDaemons/com.apple.CommCenter.plist</div> <p><strong>第十步：重新启用com.apple.CommCenter.plist</strong><br />成功输入了上面的三个AT指令以后，成功就已经近在咫尺了！<br />请再打开一个终端窗口，SSH到iPhone上，输入这个很熟悉的命令：<br /></p> <div style="padding: 10px; background-color: rgb(250, 255, 169);">launchctl load -w /System/Library/LaunchDaemons/com.apple.CommCenter.plist</div> <p>执行成功的话，还是应该什么反应都没有。<br /><br /><strong>第十一步：覆盖lockdownd<br /></strong>其实，现在插入你的sim卡，重启iPhone的话，就应该已经可以用了。但是别急，我们还有一点儿收尾工作要做。<br />启用我们一开始的时候用过的SFTP软件，把破解包里的"lockdownd"这个文件上传到iPhone的"/usr/libexec"目录里，覆盖里面的同名文件。<br /><br /><br />恭喜！到这里，你的iPhone就已经完全破解成功了！<br />另外提个醒，过些天苹果出新版本固件的时候可千万不要着急升级，不然破解是很有可能会失效的。<br /><br />时间仓促，我先上个文本版的，回头配图。。。</p>

北京时间昨天晚上，在hackint0sh.org上有人贴出了通过克隆sim卡完全破解iPhone的方法。<br />详情请见：<a href="http://iphoneactivation.info/2007/08/06/unlock-your-iphone-with-supersim/" target="_blank">http://iphoneactivation.info/2007/08/06/unlock-your-iphone-with-supersim/</a><br />如果有人需要，我回头会把那个帖子翻译成中文。<br /><br />过程很复杂，大致是用一个sim卡读卡器，想办法读出你自己sim卡里的IMSI, ICC, 和Ki数据。然后结合iPhone自己带的那张AT&amp;T的sim卡数据，写到一张新卡里面。<br /><br />对于中国用户来说，有一个不好的消息就是中国移动用了自己的算法来加密Ki数据，给破解增加了难度。我打算明天去中关村取取经，看看那些做一卡多号生意的人有没有什么高招。<br /><br />在iPhone的硬件被完全破解之前，这已经是个天大的喜讯了！通过这个方法破解的iPhone已经完全可以拨打和接听电话了！<br />

我最喜欢OSX的功能之一就是系统自带的截屏。<br />可以截取整个屏幕（苹果+Shift+3）或是局部（苹果+Shift+4），截取到剪贴板（苹果+Ctrl+Shift+3/4）或是文件（苹果+Shift+3/4），非常方便。<br /><br />唯一不足的地方就是，从10.4开始，默认的截屏文件格式变成了PNG（以前是PDF）。在很多网站上贴图都不认这种格式。怎么才能把默认格式改成更方便的JPG呢？很简单：<br /> <UL> <LI>打开一个Terminal。</LI> <LI>输入“<FONT style="BACKGROUND-COLOR: #fff000" color=#000000>defaults write com.apple.screencapture type jpg</FONT>” (jpg也可以换成pdf, tif, 甚至psd)</LI> <LI>Log Out，然后再登陆，就行了。</LI></UL> <br /> <P><br /></P>

以前用XP的时候，在PC和MAC之间共享文件很容易，只要设置一下Windows共享就可以了。可是升级到Vista以后，再访问OSX的共享，永远都是用户名错误。<br />遇到困难的时候，Google永远是我们最好的朋友，一翻搜索后，找到如下解决方案： <OL> <LI>在Vista里面点击开始，在搜索栏输入"gpedit.msc"，然后按回车。 <LI>如果User Account Control跳出来，点允许，然后就可以看到Group Policy Object Editor。 <LI>在Group Policy Object Editor里面，点开： <UL> <LI>Computer Configuration <LI>Windows Settings <LI>Security Settings <LI>Local Policies <LI>Security Options </LI></UL> <LI>打开"Network security: LAN Manager authentication level"，然后把Security Setting改成"Send LM &amp; NTLM - use NTLMv2 session security if negotiated"。 <LI>点OK关闭保存即可。</LI></OL>

<P>前两天把Macbook的内存加到了2G，顺便装了个Final Cut Pro玩 (5.1, Universal Binary)。</P> <P>今天有点闲工夫，又装了个Aperture (1.5.2, UB)，结果发现安装完成以后一运行，程序图标闪一下就消失不见了。。。而且连本来好好的Final Cut Pro也没法用了。。。</P> <P>郁闷之余，四处寻找解决方案。。。终于在一个BT站的帖子里发现了病因：<br />原来是个叫ProKit的Framework被错误的覆盖成PowerPC版本了（也可能是被删除了），所以在Intel的机器上就无法运行。</P> <P>解决办法也不难，把正确的ProKit.framework重新复制到/System/Library/PrivateFrameworks/里面去即可。注意在finder里面要用鼠标拖拽，键盘热键不管用。</P> <P>Intel版ProKit.framework在国外各大<a href="http://thepiratebay.org/">BT站上</a>可以找到，请搜一个叫"ProKit for Intel"的种子。<br /><br />或者在OSX的安装盘里也有。具体步骤如下：</P> <UL> <OL> <LI>首先下载"Pacifist"这个软件 <LI>用它打开OSX安装盘上的essentials.pkg <LI>安装里面的System/Libraries/PrivateFrameworks/Prokit.framework</LI></OL></UL>就齐活了。

上周末去滑雪的时候，把钱包给丢了。。。现金虽然不多，可身份证，信用卡，这种东西，丢了就很麻烦。。。这事儿不大，却让我想起前一阵看过的这样一篇文章。。。<br /> <BLOCKQUOTE>2001年美国《读者文摘》杂志曾在全世界范围内作了一项很有意思的试验。试验内容是要测试30多个国家(地区)民众的诚实程度。测试方法是在每个国家选择几个地区，故意在每个地区丢下10个钱包，里面装有相当于50美元的当地货币。钱包里同时附有失主的联系方式，拾到钱包的人如果想物归原主，可以轻易地联系到失主。最后统计钱包交还给失主的比率。试验发现，最诚实的5个国家是挪威、丹麦、新加坡、新西兰和芬兰。其中挪威和丹麦的钱包归还率竟然达到100%，芬兰也高达80%！耐人寻味的是，这5个国家，在《腐败榜》中，全部入选最廉洁的前十位。</BLOCKQUOTE>什么时候在中国丢了东西也能踏踏实实地等着有人给送回来呢？<br /><br />希望这一天不会太远。。。<br /><br />

上次写blog居然是小半年前的事儿了。。。 <br /><br />这段日子里都发生了什么事儿呢？罗列一下吧：<br /> <UL> <LI>开始每个周末去滑雪，有时候甚至一个周末两天都去，进步不小，也认识了很多新朋友。 <LI>去一个电影剧组打了两个礼拜的临时工，电影叫《The kite runner》，我的职位是"the Runner"。 <LI>车载电脑坏了，似乎是电源因为接触不良烧了，一直懒得修。 <LI>托朋友从美国带了一台Macbook回来，白色的Core 2 Duo，2Ghz/1G/80, SuperDrive, 支持802.11 a/b/g/n, 现在就盼着QIM出支持双拼的2.0了。 <LI>从12月开始到Disney上班，做网站相关的项目管理。 <br /> <LI>又老了一岁，28了，马上就是Th1rty的人了。</LI></UL>
