DSLR on 4x5 view camera
摄影笔记 2006/08/18 19:23 I studied large format photography in college. It's such a shame I've never touched that camera ever since I left school... untill last year, I found this neat little adapter in a local camera store, it allows me to mount my DSLR onto the back of my view camera.
Here are some test shots I've taken with this setup: (Nikon D100 + Cambo SC + Schneider 5.6/210)
However, it does have some drawbacks. Due to the nature of DSLRs, D100 weights too much. It'll drag the back down, makes it very hard to align multiple shots. Also, the already long 210mm lens, is multiplied by 1.5 when shooting with D100. Kinda inpractical to shoot portraits and scenery stuff.
